Methods to Sell Hwacheon Machine Tools
SUDBURY, MA - Methods Machine Tools is now authorized to sell Hwacheon CNC machine tools, including vertical machining centers, turning centers, and vertical lathes, through its direct sales offices in the United States. The marketing partnership between Methods and Hwacheon Machinery America Inc. was announced and launched in Chicago at the 2006 International Manufacturing Technology Show in early September.
Methods Board Chairman Scott McIver proclaimed the sale "a leg up for both Hwacheon and Methods." Emphasizing the Korean manufacturer's larger models, he said, "Now we can offer our customers an even more extensive line of machining centers, all the way up to Hwacheon's largest vertical machining center, the SIRIUS-V, with a working cube of 98″ x 49″ x 29″, and the Hwacheon MEGA-100 CNC lathe, which can handle bar stock as large as Ø 12.5″."
