Methods Announces Agreement with Toyoda Machinery USA
SUDBURY, MA - Methods Machine Tools, Inc., is pleased to announce its partnership with Toyoda Machinery to sell the company's new line of vertical machining centers, and bridge and gantry machining centers, through its direct sales offices across the country. In addition, Methods will distribute Toyoda horizontal machining centers and cylindrical grinders in Arizona and Colorado.
Scott McIver, Chairman of the Board of Methods Machine Tools, Inc., declared the new arrangement "a winner for all concerned," adding, "The partnership allows us to offer our customers an even greater choice of machines, and Toyoda will enjoy greater exposure."
Toyoda vertical machining centers range from the high-speed AF610 with a 24″ x 16.5″ x 17.7″ working cube to the boxway BM1600 with a working cube of 63″ x 31.5″ x 31.5″. The new line will be introduced at IMTS 2006.
The Toyoda line of horizontal machining centers ranges from the new FH450S with a 23.6″ pallet to the FA1050, which accommodates multi-part fixtures and giant parts exceeding 5 feet in diameter. Most models are available with high-speed or high-torque spindle options, magazines for up to 492 tools, and fourth or fifth axis tables.
Toyoda CNC cylindrical grinding machines all have massive, cast-iron beds for rigidity and thermal stability. The proprietary Toyoda STAT® wheel spindle bearing eliminates all metal-to-metal friction, wear, adjustment, vibration, and flutter.
Camshaft/crankshaft grinders are also available.
