Metal-Era Renews Minority Business Certificate Home Council Certificate Now Nationally Recognized

Waukesha, WI – Metal-Era, Inc., the national leader in commercial engineered roof solutions has renewed their home council certificate to certify them as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) with the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC). The North Central Minority Supplier Development Council certificate will be nationally recognized in place of affiliate reciprocal certifications.

Metal-Era’s status as a MBE has been renewed for 2014-2015. As a part of the new NMSDC Strategic Plan, the Council combined affiliate regional councils to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness of advancing business opportunities for Minority Businesses and connecting them to corporate members.

“Diversity is a high priority at Metal-Era, and with the restructuring of the NMSDC certification program it will be easier than ever for our customers across the country to meet their diversity goals through the purchase of Metal-Era’s products,” says Tony Mallinger, President at Metal-Era.

Metal-Era is proud to be a Minority Business Enterprise and a member of the NMSDC. All of Metal-Era’s roof edge, airflow, and private label products have Minority Business Credit available.

The new nationally recognized certificate can be downloaded from Metal-Era’s Minority Business webpage. For more information on Metal-Era’s Minority business program, please call 800-558-2162 or email
