MESA International Launches 'Smart Story Awards'
Unique awards program celebrates people using Information Technologies to make smart decisions throughout manufacturing value chains.
CHANDLER, AZ., - MESA (Manufacturing Enterprise Solutions Association) International, the leading not-for-profit industry association for education about the role and value of IT in manufacturing, launches a new awards program today.
MESA's Smart Story Awards will celebrate successes about the people and Information Technologies that are making manufacturing smarter: agile, sustainable, efficient, and so on.Â
PERKS: The awards program is unlike any other in the industry because ALL entries will get promotion! Each entry will be posted on a public summary page in MESA's Resource Library, an online library that holds over 1,000 pieces of educational content available for download.
GRAND PRIZE: Three winning entries will be determined by the most downloads over a 3 month period. Winners will get interviewed in a MESA webcast along with special promotion to MESA's network, at events, and with media partners.
DEADLINE TO SUBMIT: June 20th, 2016
Commenting on the launch, MESA's President Mike Yost says, "You can't have smart operations without smart people. We are excited to launch this awards program so that we can showcase the people and their stories about solving complex problems with the use of Information Technologies."
Stories can be entered in the form of videos, case studies, white papers, articles, or other types of noncommerical media. Stories can be about any topic that touches on manufacturing value chains including PLM, Sustainability, Analytics, ERP, MES/MOM, Metrics, Smart Manufacturing, Cybersecurity, Apps/Platforms, and more.
