Hotrunner Specialist Adds Industry Veteran Allen Virant as Regional Sales Manager

Slinger, Wis. – Mastip Technology, a supplier of specialist hotrunner solutions to the global plastics industry, announced today the appointment of Allen Virant as Regional Sales Manager. Based in Cleveland, Ohio, Virant’s role includes responsibility for sales, application development and technical support of Mastip’s thermally optimized hotrunners and components in the Detroit Metro area, Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York. In addition, Allen will oversee the company’s new Cleveland office.

Virant has held a series of senior sales and service positions throughout the years with notable companies including Diamond Shamrock, Plasticolors, Ferro Corp and Interstate Chemical. Most recently, he served as the National Accounts – Technical Business Manager for Greenchem Industries. He holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from Baldwin-Wallace College. Virant currently resides in the Greater Cleveland area with his wife Pam.
