WASHINGTON – Members of the media are invited to join The Optical Society (OSA) for the second event in its Light the Future speaker series with special guest Mary Lou Jepsen.

One of the world’s foremost display innovators, Jepsen will explore how the objectives, struggles and achievements of the great optical scientists and engineers of our past can help unlock today’s challenges in optical communications.



To commemorate its 100th birthday, The Optical Society will also display a century of optics innovation at booth 2532 during The Optical Fiber Communication Conference and Exhibition (OFC), 22-24 March. Registration is free for media and the public.
