Marotta Names Wilbur C. Trafton to Board of Directors

Montville, New Jersey (February 21, 2006) - Marotta Controls, a world leader in the design and development of fluid controls, has named Wilbur C. Trafton to the company's board. Mr. Trafton brings over 24 years of experience in the aerospace industry and will be a valuable asset to the company.

A decorated combat veteran and retired Navy Captain, Mr. Trafton held a number of high-level positions in the areas of operations, acquisitions of weapons systems and international affairs, including Commanding Officer of the combat support ship Seattle in Desert Storm, Commanding Officer of Attack Squadron 113, Executive Officer of the aircraft carrier Forrestal, and Executive Assistant to the Commander, Naval Air Systems Command.

Mr. Trafton is President of Will Trafton and Associates, LLC, an aerospace consulting firm. He has previously served as President and COO of Kistler Aerospace, VP and General Manager of Boeing Expendable Launch Systems and President of Boeing Launch Services. He served as Chairman of the Board and President of Sea Launch Company, LLC. He was also President of International Launch Services.

A former Associate Administrator for Space Flight at NASA, Mr. Trafton was responsible for planning, budgeting and execution of the Space Shuttle Program, The International Space Station Program, the Expendable Launch Vehicles Program, and the Deep Space Network. He was also responsible for four NASA centers: Johnson Space Center, Kennedy Space Center, Marshall Space Flight Center and Stennis Space Center.

In 1997 Mr. Trafton was selected for Presidential Rank of Meritorious Executive. He was also awarded two NASA Outstanding Leadership Medals.
