Longs Drugs Announces Expanded Online Photo Services Powered By HP's Snapfish

WALNUT CREEK, Calif., Oct. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Longs Drug Stores Corporation (NYSE:LDG) today announced that additional online photo features are now available through a new relationship with Snapfish by HP. Longs Drugs has expanded its online photo service, available at longs.com, to include a broad range of free photo editing tools and software that allows customers to share, store and create a variety of high-quality photo products in a simple and affordable way.
The new service conveniently allows online customers to share and store photos from their homes. In addition, customers have the opportunity to create unique items from more than 90 distinctive photo products, including mugs, MemoryBooks, calendars and t-shirts.

In 2003 Longs invested in digital photo technology, making it the first drug store with full-service digital photo labs in 370 stores.
