Lochinvar Refreshes Fifth Annual VIP Contractor Program with New Rewards and Resources


New Incentives, Toolbox + Tried-And-True Tactics = Successful Heating Season for VIPs

LEBANON, TN - January 2010 - Lochinvar is kicking off its fifth annual VIP Contractor Program with a fresh new offering of rewards and resources. Designed to help contactors achieve a successful and profitable heating season, the 2009-2010 program features a wealth of sales tools and updated incentives for installations of the KNIGHT®, Efficiency+® and Solution(TM) residential boiler product lines, as well as the KNIGHT XL® Commercial Boiler. Additionally, the Squire(TM) Indirect Water Heater joins the program this year as a natural accompaniment to these Lochinvar Boilers.

Top-Tier Rewards

With each purchase of a KNIGHT, KNIGHT XL, Efficiency+ or Solution Heating Boiler, contractors earn one point towards tiered rewards; registrations of Squire Indirect Water Heaters earn a half point. Enclosed with each of these products is a registration card that can be mailed to Lochinvar for a free gift.

This tiered reward system, which made its debut to rave reviews last year, allows contractors to earn a wide variety of rewards based on the number of registration cards they submit. This year, tiers three through five offer VIPs even more choices from a Rewards Catalog, which can be browsed online at www.knightheatingboiler.com. Following is an overview of this year's new tiered rewards:

VIP Toolbox

This year, to help VIP Contractors make the heating season a success, Lochinvar is equipping them with all of the sales tools they need. This resourceful toolbox includes Homeowner Literature with easy-to-understand information on what makes Lochinvar boilers the most advanced on the market; a fully customizable Homeowner Postcard that allows contractors to launch their own direct mail campaign and announce their VIP status; ready-to-print ads and radio scripts that can be easily updated to include each contractor's unique information; as well as Payback Calculators, Case Studies and Installation Showcases that highlight the proven performance of Lochinvar products, simplifying the sale.

All VIP Contractors are also invited to submit a customizable profile on www.knightheatingboiler.com, featuring company information, logos and pictures of their storefronts, as well as mission statements and descriptions of services offered. An exciting addition to the site this year, the new "See My Work" option is a powerful tool designed to aid homeowners in hiring a contractor in their area and allows VIPs to highlight their experience with photo albums showcasing successful installations.

Also new to the program is the VIP Forum, an online resource for VIPs to chat among peers, seek advice and provide solutions for each other. Lochinvar personnel are online as well to assist VIPs with any technical or product-related questions.

VIP Installation Showcase

Through April 2010, contractors once again have the opportunity to compete on a monthly basis to showcase their recent installations on the KNIGHT Web site by submitting them on the VIP Connection at www.lochinvar.com/vip. After the projects are reviewed by a panel of Lochinvar judges, one contractor each month is awarded a $250 gift card to Cabela's or Bass Pro Shop, or a gas card of the same value. The contractor with the most impressive project of the heating season will win the grand prize, a floor-standing KNIGHT KBN080 or wall mount KNIGHT WBN080 boiler.

Nashville Experience

This year, 12 top-selling contractors and their guests will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Lochinvar World Headquarters for the exciting Nashville Experience in June. These deserving VIPs will be rewarded for their hard work with lodging at the widely renowned Gaylord-Opryland Resort and three action-packed days featuring all of the excitement Nashville has to offer.

The winners will have the opportunity to take part in an advanced training session at Lochinvar's state-of-the-art facility, tour the manufacturing plant and attend a roundtable meeting with the engineering, technical service, sales and marketing teams. In addition, they will be treated to entertainment on the General Jackson Showboat, tickets to the Grand Ole Opry and Premium Plus Seating at the Nashville Super Speedway for the Federated Auto Parts 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series Race.

Throughout the heating season, educational webinars are offered to VIP Contractors at no cost. These interactive webinars offer training tips and information from Lochinvar's support team, as well as visual tools, to help participants perfect their installations of KNIGHT, KNIGHT XL, Efficiency+ and Solution Heating Boilers.

In addition, to keep VIP Contractors in the loop throughout the year, members are the first to know about new products, new VIP Program incentives, the latest featured jobs, tips from Lochinvar's technical service experts, training opportunities and more through the monthly Knightly Newsletter.
