Linde Gas LLC Names Energy and Utilities Market Segment Manager

CLEVELAND, (July 25, 2005) - Linde Gas LLC has named power industry veteran Phillip Midgett as Segment Manager for Energy and Utilities. For the first time, Linde Gas will offer its full product and services portfolio to the high-growth energy sectors in region North America including the U.S., Mexico and Puerto Rico. In this newly created role, Midgett will focus Linde Gas resources on developing and introducing new products, services and partnerships for the energy and utility markets. His extensive environmental product and specialty gases experience bring a further depth to the well-rounded Linde Gas segment marketing team. Existing customers will benefit immediately as Midgett will also serve as a technical specialist supporting Linde Gas field personnel.
Since 1977, Midgett has been responsible for environmental projects throughout the United States, China, Panama, Australia and the Caribbean. Key to Linde's growth strategy, Midgett brings specific sales and distribution emphasis for specialty gases used by power generation facilities, as well as SCR, Bag Houses and general power plant construction.
