Little Neck, June 12, 2008 - Leviton, North America's leading manufacturer of electrical and electronic wiring devices, is pleased to announce the appointment of Rob Ende to the newly-created position of Vice President, Supply Chain. In his new post, Ende spearheads the company's sourcing, procurement and inventory management strategies and oversees the company's distribution centers, transportation network, and customer service and e-commerce operations. Working with the company's business units, sales channels and manufacturing operations, his focus is on aligning the company's supply chain operations with its business strategies and fostering increased collaboration with customers, suppliers and third-party service providers.

Prior to joining Leviton, Ende worked for Arrow Electronics as Director of Supply Chain Optimization and Staff Assistant to the CEO. He also worked as Director of Strategic Planning for Brandwise.com, an on-line comparison shopping company, as a consultant for The Boston Consulting Group and as an Aerodynamics Engineer for the Grumman Aerospace Corporation.
Ende holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering from Penn State University, an MS in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University and an MBA from The Wharton School, where he achieved distinction as a Palmer Scholar. He lives with his wife and two children in Dix Hills, New York.
