LANXESS Corporation Wins Recognition for Performance Improvement Program

LANXESS Corporation's Basic Chemicals Business Unit in Baytown, Texas has received a Gold Performance Improvement award for accomplishments in maintaining strong environmental, health, safety and security (EHS&S) efforts. The Gold Award is the top honor given by the Synthetic Organic Chemical Manufacturers Association (SOCMA) and demonstrates that the company has made a major commitment of time and resources to EHS&S improvements. The Award is sponsored by ChemStewards®, SOCMA's EHS&S initiative.
