SOA Appliance Combined With KAP Services Solves Turnaround Management and Reporting Void
MCLEAN, Va., May 23 / -- LaborLogix, Inc., of McLean, Virginia, a leading SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) appliance provider, today announced a new alliance with KAP Project Services, Inc. of La Porte, TX, a full service turnaround, maintenance and capital projects management company. The alliance brings a new integration appliance to the turnaround market for integrating work order and Project Management systems from vendors such as SAP, Primavera and others. "LaborLogix's solution goes beyond mere data integration to provide turnaround managers with a dashboard for direct control over project execution and daily reporting on critical turnaround and project management issues. When used with KAP's Turnaround services, cost and schedule variance is reduced, efficiency is increased and the customer retains all the data in their own systems," said Kirk Blanchard, KAP's Eastern Regional Manager.
The combination of KAP Project Services and LaborLogix's SOAppliance(TM) for Turnarounds provides multiple benefits to plant owners. The use of the appliance by KAP provides the ability to plan and run a more efficient turnaround, which directly benefits the customer. Additionally, the alliance between LaborLogix and KAP has resulted in standardized turnaround integration and reporting methodologies and processes that implement best practices based on KAP's extensive knowledge and experience with turnaround projects and at the same time, keep the customers systems of records up to date automatically. Utilizing a value-priced, Software as a Service Subscription model, the SOAppliance(TM) can be turned off until the next turnaround or the customer can convert the subscription to LaborLogix's SOAppliance, WorkPath®PM, for plant maintenance integration processes.
