KGK International Announces Major Realignment and Extension of Product Lines

KGK International, the North American subsidiary of Tokyo-based Kanematsu KGK Corporation, has announced a major realignment that will enable the firm to serve additional sectors of the North American business community with a greater variety of products and services.

Well known as a major importer of high quality Japanese machine tools, KGKI will now represent products in the energy and foodservice industries, as well as extending its offerings in manufacturing.

According to KGK Management, as new technologies have emerged, we've made a decision to augment our existing product base with new solutions and to utilize our extensive corporate capability in diversifying our product lines to other areas. For instance, we will continue to sell and support an extensive line of machining centers and turning centers equipped with the industry-standard FANUC control, and we have increased our manufacturing machinery to include spinning and flow forming machines and precision 3D tube bending machines. These products fit well with our existing lines and have been enthusiastically received by both existing and new customers.

Our new energy related products include advanced solar photovoltaic wafer processing systems, and the ability to supply wafers and related components to industry. For the foodservice industry, we're offering an exceptionally fast and versatile sleeve labeling system, as well as processing machinery for the manufacture of snack foods.

In addition to the increased scope of product lines, KGK has exemplified its philosophy of "Meeting Local Challenges with Global Technology" by widening its supplier base to include manufacturers from other Asian nations as well as Japan. KGKI President, states, "All of the products that we represent share a common dedication to excellence in manufacture, as well as a tradition of customer service and support. By extending our capabilities into other areas, we are creating a broader and stronger organization with our new and existing customers."
