Vizag Becomes a Key Development Center for Kenexa's Technology Innovation
WAYNE, Pa., March 13 -- Kenexa® (NASDAQ:KNXA), a leading provider of recruitment and retention solutions, today announced the development of its newest global office in Visakhapatham, India. Also known as Vizag, the city is about 650 kilometers from Kenexa's original Asian headquarters in Hyderabad.
"We intend for the Vizag campus to become a key part of Kenexa's software global research and development organization. The campus is state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly, and conducive to creativity and invention," stated Rudy Karsan, chief executive officer, Kenexa.
Tom Wanuga, Kenexa's vice president of development for India and Malaysia, is overseeing product development at the Vizag campus. Wanuga, a graduate of MIT, and a past employee of IBM's Thomas J. Watson Research Center, is overseeing Kenexa's research and development efforts, including Kenexa Recruiter® BrassRing, Kenexa CareerTracker® and Kenexa's newest technology platform, targeted to be released into Beta later this year.

Under his leadership, Kenexa will continue to increase its global development efforts, while innovating and enhancing our current suite of applications and developing the next generation of on-demand talent management products," said Karsan.
