K-Tec Expands in N.E. Ohio

K-Tec, designer and manufacturer of material handling equipment for lean and forklift-free production, has moved to a new 100,000 square foot facility at 1350 Rockefeller Road, Wickliffe, Ohio.

"The demand for K-TEC carts, lifts and conveyors (designed for forklift-free applications) looks to be very strong for 2007 and well into the foreseeable future." states co-founder and President Larry Tyler. "Many manufacturers especially those planning new facilities have mandated that their entire assembly floor be forklift-free. Other manufacturers with existing plants are taking incremental approaches to forklift-free by converting key sections of their operations."

Co-founder and company Chief Operating Officer, John Neumann adds that "K-TEC's investment in new production equipment, design improvements and a new standard product line targeted for small to mid-sized manufacturers will allow us to competitively support the growth of forklift-free operations across North America."
