inVentiv Health Launches inVentiv Resource Solutions to Support Human Capital Needs

New Business Unit to Provide both External and Internal Solutions
SOMERSET, N.J., July 12 - inVentiv Health, Inc. (NASDAQ:VTIV) today announced the launch of inVentiv Resource Solutions, a business unit dedicated to providing best-in-class- human resource solutions to external clients as well as managing a variety of internal human resource needs. Leading this new revenue-generating division within inVentiv Commercial is Managing Director Brian Holland, who will report to Tristen Herrstrom, Executive VP of Resource Management for inVentiv Health.
Terry Herring, Chief Operating Officer of inVentiv Health and President/CEO of inVentiv Commercial said, "We have been very successful at providing human resource services to our clients as part of a total sales team solution, and offering these and related services independently is just another example of how the outsourcing trend is growing within the pharmaceutical industry. We expect inVentiv Resource Solutions to further improve efficiency within our organization, and to identify new and innovative ways to further drive our revenue goals."
inVentiv Resource Solutions is currently offering three distinct services:
o A web portal, www.pharmajobboard.com/, dedicated to the
recruitment and development of pharmaceutical sales representatives.
In addition to job searching capabilities, the portal will provide
candidates with online learning capabilities through a partnership with
Post University, as well as an invitational social network for
information exchange.
o A Temporary Personnel Staffing business which will enable inVentiv to
provide all aspects of sourcing, screening, identifying, and presenting
Temporary Staffing candidates for available assignments for external
and internal clients. Joelle Novak has been appointed to lead the
Temporary Personnel Staffing business unit.
o A full suite of Human Resource solutions to assist clients in
developing their strategic capabilities including Organizational
Development, Cultural Strategy and other essential HR services.
