Instron® to Comply with Updated ASTM Standards in 2008

Instron, a leading provider of testing equipment solutions designed to evaluate mechanical properties of materials and components, will offer calibration products that comply to ASTM E 18-07 for Rockwell testing and E 10-07 for Brinell testing beginning in 2008.

In 2007, ASTM subcommittee E28.06 passed new versions of these two standards. While the basic tests have not changed, there are many updates to the ASTM standards, including technical changes and new documentation requirements.
