Instron® Announces Test Advisor Series Webinars


Instron, a leading provider of testing equipment designed to evaluate mechanical properties of materials and components, is hosting an informational seminar on the web on October 19, 2005 at 9 a.m. EDT.

The webinar will provide materials testing professionals tips on preventing testing errors. Titled, "Hidden Errors in Your Data; Why Your Results Don't Look Right," the webinar will be presented by Christopher Scott, Instron's European Customer Training Manager. The webinar will focus primarily on monotonic tensile/compression testing. Specific topics include specimen grip slippage, load string induced errors, specimen alignment, slack correction and correct data rates.
