Hydratight to Open Major Facility in New Jersey


HYDRATIGHT, the global joint integrity and engineering services company, is setting up a major new facility in New Jersey for operations across the US eastern seaboard.

The new hub will be a "product supermarket" for the rental and sale of equipment to service power stations, refineries and other industrial facilities across the whole of the eastern US.

The new facility, in Somerset, New Jersey also brings together the operations of Hydratight Biach's facilities in Cranford and Flemington to be the new centre of excellent for nuclear products and service.

The site, in a Somerset industrial area, covers 15000sq ft and will house all sales, engineering and management functions and will have a fully-equipped workshop with assembly testing, refurbishing and preparation stations on site.

The building is currently being renovated to provide offices, meeting rooms and workshops to Hydratight's requirements - which also include full-scale training facilities, so product instruction and information can be offered to customers new to some of the advanced equipment available.

"The new hub will streamline business and bring our operations together under one roof, to give customers far easier access to the wide range of services we offer to many different industries," said Bob Boychuk, Hydratight's nuclear portfolio leader.
