Hifn Rolls Out 2008 Channel 100 Partner Program Bringing iSCSI IP SAN Solutions and Marketing Tools to Resellers

LOS GATOS, Calif., February 25, 2008 - Hifn(TM) (NASDAQ: HIFN), the catalyst behind storage and networking innovation, today unveiled its partner program for 2008, arming resellers with marketing programs and dedicated resources to take part in the rapidly growing iSCSI market with award-winning IP SAN appliances.

Hifn's new Channel 100 Partner Program for its Swarm(TM) iSCSI IP SAN storage appliances is composed of three tiers based on annual sales volume- Fast Start, Freeway and Autobahn - and is designed to help VARs utilize and leverage Hifn's iSCSI expertise as they move to grow their iSCSI knowledge and business. The Fast Start program is designed to assist VARs who are in search of a channel-friendly iSCSI vendor who understands the needs and values of channel partners. Hifn has already received a recent influx of resellers, including prominent Texas VAR, Dallas Digital Services.

"When we looked at the overall cost and ease of use of the Hifn product line, it's kind of a no brainer," said Howie Evans, Vice President, Dallas Digital Services. "I've had other iSCSI vendors and dropped them. For me personally with Hifn the difference was the people and their commitment to the channel."

"Hifn's Channel 100 program is all about putting the pieces in place to help our partners in the growing iSCSI market. This program was also built to speed up adoption of new partners while accelerating our current partners' in their drive to succeed and move to the next level," said John Matze, Vice President of Business Development at Hifn. "The strong market acceptance of iSCSI technology combined with the market-leading feature set of our Swarm appliance and Hifn's total commitment to the reseller channel create a robust opportunity for our partners."

Hifn kicked off the 2008 Channel 100 program with a record-setting webinar where Matze discussed how the iSCSI market is changing and affecting reseller capabilities and profits, the impact on the channel from recent acquisition activity, the tremendous growth potential of iSCSI driven by server consolidations and virtualization and how it will impact other storage protocols, and how solution providers are using iSCSI to grow their business and customer base. Almost 300 resellers joined in the online event and 10 percent of those applied to become Hifn channel partners immediately following the webinar (an archive of the webinar is available at http://w.on24.com/r.htm?e=99072&s=1&k=EDD6442C0DC3DC82CB6A4E83228BCA95).

The Channel 100 Partner Program is packed with resources at all three levels - Fast Start, Freeway and Autobahn - to help channel partners maximize their experiences with Hifn iSCSI appliances. The program includes training webinars, lead generation, product spiffs and joint customer visits with Hifn storage experts. Additionally, Hifn supports its partners with discounted demo units, public relations and telemarketing support, and event and marketing program support based on sales volume. And for the highest level achievement, Autobahn partners receive exclusive participation in Hifn-only end-user focus groups, and an invitation to the annual President's Table event.
