Heli Expo Big Success For Atec, Inc.
ATEC, INC., EXHIBITED AT HELI EXPO 2008, FEBRUARY 24-26, IN HOUSTON,
TEXAS. THE SHOW WAS A HUGE SUCCESS!

The George R. Brown Convention Center played host to this year's Heli Expo, put on by
the Helicopter Association International (HAI). Atec showcased the realization of its
newest product, the Phoenix(TM) Modular Engine Test Facility. At previous shows, Atec was
only able to display a scaled down model of the Phoenix(TM). HAI offered a unique
opportunity to Atec by choosing Houston as its location for Heli Expo 2008. For the first
time, Atec was able to bring the Phoenix(TM) Modular Engine Test Facility to the public.
Featured alongside helicopter displays, the Phoenix(TM) Modular Engine Test Facility stood
out among the crowd. Atec's relocatable test cell generated a lot of excitement from the
industry at the show. Visitors received guided tours of the structure and were able to
experience sitting at the controls. By showcasing the Phoenix(TM) inside the main exhibit
hall at Heli Expo, Atec was able to fully demonstrate a few of the skidded cell's key
features, such as its portability, its endless array of customizable features, and its "green"
aspects of offsetting a user's power consumption by using the engine's energy output to
place electric power back on the local grid and the green bonus of having no buried tanks
or lines. Test cell users were able to clearly see the benefits of purchasing a Phoenix(TM),
which allows its users to move their test cells as business dictates. Our self-contained
concept makes our "test cell in a box" a piece of equipment eligible for easier decisionmaking,
quicker amortization, leasing, and supportable aftermarket resale. All of this was
well received by the attendees and resulted in many solid sales leads.
