With 16 channels of up to 28 Gbps data rates for 400 Gbps total bandwidth, TE’s CDFP connector and cage assembly enables one of the highest port and bandwidth densities of any pluggable I/O currently on the market.
The CDFP connector and cage assembly has been developed with the flexibility to help address individual design requirements for faster speeds, optimal use of space and simplified connections. The CDFP connector includes a 0.75 mm contact pitch, 120 contacts, dual row paddle card interface and press-fit assembly. The product simplifies assembly with one-step placement on PCBs using a pre-assembled, one-piece press-fit connector and cage design.
The CDFP connector and cage assembly supports both current and next generation Ethernet and PCIe networking protocols and is ideal for high-speed applications such as data centers, high performance computing, storage and networking equipment.
