BOLIVAR, OH-Harris Battery is now an exclusive distributor for The BULL(TM), a line of severe-duty commercial batteries with a 36-month free-replacement guarantee against manufacturer defects.
The BULL sealed and maintenance-free batteries deliver maximum performance under extreme conditions. They meet or exceed industry standards for heavy-duty off-road and over-the-road applications.
Since there is no maintenance, The BULL provides lower ownership and operating costs than competitive products.
The BULL is designed for maximum vibration resistance, yielding more than six times the industry standard. It has full-frame grids and plates that are anchor-bonded to the container and locked at the top of the element.
The full-frame grids also deliver superior cycle life and charge acceptance. The BULL exceeds 500 cycles when subjected to rigorous cycling at 175° F (75° C)-more than four times the industry standard.
The BULL's industry-leading recharging capabilities include 20-minute recovery after 400 hours of deep discharge cycles and 60-minute recovery after more than 30-days' complete discharge.
The battery's manifold-vented double cover keeps contaminants from entering he battery, protects terminals, cables, hold-downs and battery compartments from corrosive gases, and includes built-in flame arrestors for added safety.
Rugged, CAD-designed, reinforced polypropylene case sides and floors increase the battery's rupture resistance at extreme temperatures and resist flexing and punctures.
Other important features include a flat-top design with convenient handle; heavy-duty cold-forged terminals and bushings for maximum strength and resistance to acid seepage; calcium-lead alloy technology for minimal water loss; increased oxide densities; and, double-glass-mat insulated and enveloped plates.
The BULL complies with SAE J930 ORMCCA for off-road equipment and has been tested to exceed SAE J537, J2185 and EN60095 standards.
