Habasit on the Move
The building of Habasit America's new headquarters is under way. The new 270,000 sq. ft. building will be added onto the already existing modular fabrication facility in Suwanee, GA (just down the street from the current headquarters). When finished, the complex will be a whopping +300,000 square ft. of warehouse, fabrication, and office space. The office space itself will cover 40,000 sq. ft. and will be spread out over two floors.
Construction actually began a few months back with removing (through controlled blasting) a mammoth "mountain" of granite, an amazing feat in itself. Since then the site has been graded and, most recently, the foundation has been layed. Building is expected to be completed in March of next year.
