Gowanda Expands Inductor Capabilities with the Acquisition of Butler Winding
27 July 2016, Gowanda, NY (USA) - Gowanda Electronics, a business unit of Gowanda Components Group (GCG), is pleased to announce that its capabilities for the design and manufacture of inductors and other passive components are expanding in connection with its parent company’s acquisition of Butler Winding in Butler, PA.
GCG CEO Don McElheny stated, “Butler’s products and capabilities complement Gowanda’s and give us the opportunity to enhance and grow our high performance inductor offerings in the global marketplace. Terms of the deal were not disclosed but it is anticipated that the company will relocate from Butler, PA to GCG’s facilities in Arcade, NY in the near future.
