Gillinder Very Positive About 2016
Gillinder Glass wishes all of our current customers, and customers planning to join our family in 2016, a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year.
When asked how Gillinder Glass viewed 2016, President Charles Gillinder painted a very positive picture. “We are very optimistic that 2016 will be our best year ever. Our expanded sales and engineering office in the Pittsburgh area has successfully introduced several technologically advanced products, both in the US and internationally. These innovative products have provided an opportunity to enter new markets for our company that will generate solid sales growth in 2016. Also, in spite of the world economic situation, we expect our export business to expand rapidly as a result of new strategic relationships established in Asia, India, and Europe.”
Fred Harding, CFO, said, “The forecasted 2016 growth also bodes well for ensuing years. With Gillinder Glass’ planned investment in technology and grants received from Empire State Development, we will accelerate the addition of new furnaces to further expand the variety of products we manufacture and further enhance our reputation for quality, flexibility and on-time delivery. New scientific equipment will also be added to our labs to provide additional resources for our science and engineering team as they work with our customers’ engineering departments on new products.”
Vice President of Sales and Engineering, Dave Fox, expanded on Gillinder Glass’ relationship with its family of customers. “Our engineering team welcomes requests to provide research and design assistance on new projects. We do not approach these requests as an opportunity to generate a rapid return on our investment of time, but rather as our investment in developing long term familial relationships with our customers, both current and new.”
