Geodetic Systems Inc. Announces V-STARS Photogrammetry User Group Events in France and Germany


Melbourne, FL -- September 13, 2006 -- Geodetic Systems, Inc (GSI), a leading provider of portable 3D coordinate measurement systems, today announced two European User Group events are being held in September and October 2006. GSI exclusively develops and markets the V-STARS photogrammetry systems used by manufacturers and scientists worldwide. Geodesie Maintenance Services (GMS) will host a User Group meeting for V-STARS customers on September 28 and 29, 2006 in Nort Sur Erdre, France. Manufacturing clientele from France and Belgium will convene to update their knowledge and data acquisition techniques using V-STARS photogrammetry for measurement and inspection applications. On October 10-11, 2006, GDV Systems GmbH has organized a V-STARS User Group event to be hosted by BMW AG Munich at its "FIZ" (Forschungs und Innovationszentrum) facilities in Munich, Germany. More than 40 customers have already signed up for the event. The meeting will include lectures and workshops, and a tour BMW´s research laboratories and MAN Nutzfahrzeuge, a manufacturer of large trucks in Munich. GDV Systems GmbH is co-sponsoring this event, and represents the V-STARS product line in the German and Austrian industrial marketplace.
