Freelin-Wade is Awarded 2011 Business of The Year


(McMinnville, OR) The McMinnville Area Chamber of Commerce named Freelin-Wade Company their 2011 Business of the Year during the Chamber's Annual Awards Dinner held at the McMinnville Grand Ballroom on Thursday, November 17, 2011.

The award recognizes the growth and/or stability of a McMinnville Chamber business. It also recognizes the business or owner's participation in Chamber activities and a demonstrated commitment to community involvement.

Chamber Chair-Elect, Stevie Whited and Treasurer, Rodney Ferguson presented the award stating, "Freelin-Wade is an outstanding member of our community." Whited cited the company's FORCE fundraising team, employee involvement in chamber activities, and the company's engagement in lean education with other companies in conjunction with the McMinnville Economic Development Partnership as key contributions to the Chamber community.

Sherl Hill, General Manager accepted the award on behalf of the Freelin-Wade employees. Hill commented, "We are fortunate to have a group of employees who care and contribute not just to the company but to our community as well."
