KENT, Wash. – Flow International Corporation, the world's leading developer and manufacturer of industrial waterjet machines for cutting and cleaning applications, will be hosting John Force and Robert Hight for a signing on Wednesday, September 10th at IMTS 2014 in booth N-6217.
The signing will take place at 11 am. John Force Racing has been a partner of Flow since 2012, and Force continues to trust the company's waterjet solutions to support his racing team.
In 2012 John Force Racing added a Flow Mach 4c waterjet for custom parts production to their 160,000 square foot Brownsburg, Indiana facility. Precision parts have been a critical component of this team's success—18 time winners of NHRA Mellow Yellow Funny Car Championships and winning over 232 national events. They brought machining in-house to ensure quality control, speed up production, and maintain their competitive edge by designing and manufacturing proprietary components.
"In order to be the best, you need the best," explained John Force, 1996 Race Car Driver of the Year. "We need the best machine tools to help us design, build and maintain our Funny Cars in top condition. That's why we selected a system from Flow."
The Mach 4 system is the flagship of the Flow line of cutting tables. The Mach 4c which John Force and his team rely on is supported by Dynamic Waterjet® XD bevel cutting and taper compensation alongside a HyperJet pump rated at 94,000 psi. "Flow is excited to invite you to meet John Force Racing this year at IMTS" said Fred Mooneyham, vice president of North American sales at Flow International. "As fans ourselves, we are proud to be able to sponsor such an exceptional racing team with a world class manufacturing environment to support them."
The signing will take place at 11 am on Wednesday September 10th at IMTS 2014 in booth N-6217.
