FLIR's Premier Infrared Training Center (ITC) Releases Course Schedule through December 2007

The Infrared Training Center (ITC) is the world's largest thermography training organization. With hundreds of thermography courses, small class sizes, and expert instructors, the ITC provides top-notch, hands-on thermography training designed to fit individual student needs.

BOSTON, Massachusetts (September 19, 2007) - FLIR Systems, Inc., the global leader in infrared cameras, today announced the dates for the courses to be offered by its premier Infrared Training Center (ITC) for the remainder of 2007. The ITC will offer a wide variety of infrared courses from entry level infrared thermography to advanced infrared at its headquarters in North Billerica, MA, just a few miles north of Boston, and in cities throughout the United States and Canada. The ITC's schedule of courses through December 2007 is available online at www.goinfrared.com/training/.

Students may register for 2007 training courses on the ITC's website at infraredtraining.com/courses/registration.asp, or by calling Laurie Kelley at 1-800-866-TRAIN-IR. For information about courses in Canada, call Nancy Edwards at 1-800-613-0507 ext. 24.

Class sizes are small to ensure that students receive individualized attention, so seating is limited. Individuals who have not yet purchased a camera, but are interested in learning more about using infrared are encouraged to enroll in a course. There are prerequisites to participate in some courses - see individual class descriptions for details before registering.

Infrared courses include Level I, Level II, and Level III Thermography Training and Certification. Infrared thermographers who are involved in predictive maintenance, R&D thermography, ThermaCAM® Reporter Software Training, as well as specialized infrared application courses including commercial roof IR inspections, building diagnostics, commercial electrical IR inspections, and law enforcement/security will benefit from advanced infrared training.

All ITC Course Certifications meet or exceed ASNT (American Society for Non-Destructive Testing) SNT-TC-1A guidelines. Level I and Level II courses are recognized by the InterNational Electrical Testing Association (NETA), an accredited standards developer for the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

ITC is the only ISO-9001 certified infrared training organization worldwide and the only factory-authorized training organization for FLIR, Agema, and Inframetrics cameras. ITC is the single largest employer of instructors who are ASNT, NDT and PdM TIR Level III certified. All ITC instructors have extensive IR knowledge and field experience.
