Fleetwood Folding Trailers Holds Successful Summer Dealer Meetings in Las Vegas and Pennsylvania

RIVERSIDE, Calif., Aug. 24 / -- Fleetwood Folding Trailers, a division of Fleetwood Enterprises' RV Group, today announced the success of its summer dealer meetings held in Las Vegas, Nev. and Champion, Pa. earlier this summer. Touting strong market share numbers and a new General Manager, Allan Reeping, Fleetwood Folding Trailers delivered a message of commitment, innovation and perseverance to representatives from more than 140 of its dealerships.
During the meeting, Reeping and his team discussed the recent simplification of the folding trailer product offering, which now includes four brand lines instead of six; announced the full-time availability of the entry-level Taos and Sedona folding trailers in the 2008 Destiny Series brand line; and highlighted new product features like the standard availability of exterior high-pressure stoves on most models.
"Overall, we are very pleased with the results from our summer dealer meetings," said Reeping. "Dealer attitudes and response to model year 2008 products were positive, we exceeded our sales goals, and we left with a stronger vision for the future."
While focusing on the future, Fleetwood Folding Trailers also took time to reflect on its past -- holding a roast for its former General Manager, John Green, who retired in spring 2007 after 33 years of service; and recognizing 69 dealerships who have carried Fleetwood Folding Trailer products exclusively for over 25 years.
"John Green's industry expertise and commitment to innovation played a large role in Fleetwood Folding Trailers' continued success," said Reeping, who served as the division's National Sales Manager prior to Green's retirement. "We will miss his daily contributions and wish him the best in his retirement."
