SAN MATEO, CALIF. - September 15, 2010 - Addressing the growing interest in data virtualization, the IT industry's first-ever Data Virtualization Day will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010, at the recently opened InterContinental New York Times Square Hotel, New York City. Gartner, Inc. VP Distinguished Analyst Ted Friedman will address trends in data integration technology and architecture in a morning keynote preceded by an opening welcome by Jim Green, CEO of Composite Software, Inc., the event's sponsor.
Data Virtualization Day's agenda includes presentations by several leading enterprise adopters: Michael Linhares, Ph.D. and research fellow at Pfizer, Inc.; Emile Werr, VP Global Data Services at New York Stock Exchange (NYSE); and Prashant Sarode, VP at Wells Fargo Wholesale Bank and head of Solutions Design and Development/Wholesale Managed Services, Wells Fargo Bank; along with a customer panel on practical adoption advice moderated by Friedman.
