Factiva Introduces the Factiva Insight(TM) Affiliate Network


Customer Demand Drives Expansion of Factiva's Distribution Network

NEW YORK and LONDON, March 21 / -- Factiva(R)®, a Dow Jones and Reuters Company, today introduced the Factiva Insight(TM) Affiliate Network, which enables public relations agencies globally to incorporate Factiva's sophisticated media intelligence solutions into their strategic and daily consultancy offerings.

The Factiva Insight Affiliate Network has been created as a result of feedback gained from Factiva's client engagements and from its partnership with Hill & Knowlton. Hill & Knowlton has acted as a partner for Factiva's media intelligence solutions over the last year, and joins the Network as its first affiliate.

Effective immediately, Factiva will be accepting applications to join the Factiva Insight Affiliate Network. Public relations consultancies and agencies that join will be able to offer Factiva's analytic tools to their clients to accompany the strategic advice that they provide.

The Factiva Insight offerings for media and reputation intelligence were launched progressively throughout 2005, following Factiva's acquisition of 2B Reputation Intelligence Limited and Benchmarking Solutions Limited, a London- based technology and consulting group specializing in reputation management. Incubated in Hill & Knowlton from 2001, the 2B companies developed various sophisticated applications and formed a Reputation Lab with skilled media and communications experts. Following its acquisition of the 2B companies, Factiva integrated these technologies with its own platform, content and text-mining and visualization capabilities, and retained the domain expertise in the Reputation Lab, to create the award-winning Factiva Insight suite.
