Southbridge, MA (October 5, 2018) – Hyde Industrial Blade Solutions (IBS) today announced that Michael Castner of Harrisburg, PA, has been appointed to the position of Vice President of Sales at the leading manufacturer of industrial knives and blades. In this role, Mr. Castner will oversee Hyde’s national sales force assisting companies and distributors by providing more productive cutting and processing solutions.

Mr. Castner has over twenty years of experience in senior sales leadership roles with major international and national industrial manufacturing companies. Most recently, as Vice President at ESAB, a global leader in fabrication, welding and automation machinery, he oversaw the development of successful relationships with distributors to drive growth in key market segments. In the past, Mr. Castner was also Vice President of Sales at Sandvik Coromant, a global leader in cutting tool and machining operations.

Recognized with a Master Black Belt in Value Selling processes, Mr. Castner is also certified as a Kaizen leader, and brings these value-selling and organizational improvement enhancement techniques to Hyde and its salesforce. Over his career, Mr. Castner has also been involved with several successful new business-to-business product introductions with over 25 key products launched over the last four years alone.

Beyond his sales leadership experience, Mr. Castner has also worked extensively with customer care service teams to improve response times and deliver more efficient solutions to customer concerns.
