New Executive Will Implement Programs to Support Continued Commitment to Quality

TEMPE, Ariz. -- January 16, 2007 -- ESS, the leading global provider of operational risk management software and services for environmental, health and safety (EH&S) and crisis management, today announced a major expansion of its service delivery and quality control programs to help the company meet increased global demand for its automated solutions among enterprise- and mid-level companies.

As a part of its expansion program, the company also announced the appointment of Raymond Vance as Director of Quality Assurance. He heads the company's testing program that ensures that ESS products continue to be the most reliable on the market.

Vance has more than 20 years experience conducting software and hardware quality assurance programs, and providing systems support and maintenance for a variety of Phoenix-area businesses such as IPS-Sendero, DHL Express and Motorola SSTG of Scottsdale, Arizona; Intel Corporation of Chandler, Arizona; and Bull Worldwide Information Systems of Phoenix. He also has served as a software systems engineer for Battelle Memorial Institute, providing support to military projects at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona and Hill Air Force Base, Utah.
