Engineering Capabilities Increased to Supplement Domestic Manufacturing Efforts

Schaumburg, IL - April 25th, 2012 - KITAGAWA-NORTHTECH, INC. gains new manufacturing engineer to help supplement domestic manufacturing efforts.

During the past year Kitagawa-NorthTech has made great strides to improve customer delivery on essential accessories by increasing in-house manufacturing of adapter plates, draw tubes, t-nuts and other valuable products. This aggressive task involves equipping the Kitagawa-NorthTech manufacturing plant with the proper machines and personnel. To help in this effort, Kitagawa-NorthTech expanded the engineering group and welcomed in a new manufacturing engineer to the team. Peter Contos comes to Kitagawa-NorthTech with over 35 years of manufacturing and engineering experience. Peter's talents range across the spectrum, including: CNC programming of lathes and horizontal mills, conducting lean manufacturing studies, production planning and scheduling, create process drawings, training/educational forums and much more!
