EMX and L-3 Sign Manufacturing License Agreement

Melbourne, FL August 11, 2009 - EMX, Inc. has signed an exclusive manufacturing license with L-3 Infrared Products to produce and sell the L-3 5000xp under its own private label design. EMX will add a number of product improvements, designate the product as the EMX 7000 Series, and continue to pursue worldwide law enforcement and military security markets. Plans call for introduction of the new EMX 7000 Series in late 2009.
Designed and built to operate in unforgiving vehicle and marine environments, L-3 manufactured more than 3,000 units since the introduction of the product in 1999. During that time, EMX made value-added modifications to the L-3 product and sold it under private label as the EMX 5000C/6000C Series. EMX has sold more than 2000 of the systems with 750 units going to the USAF Base perimeter security program.
