Electrograph Opens Factory Authorized Service Center in Los Angeles Area

HAUPPAUGE, N.Y., Jan. 29: Electrograph Systems, Inc., one of the nation's largest display technology distributors, today announced the opening of a factory-authorized service center in City of Industry, California (Los Angeles area). Attained as part of Electrograph's June 2006 acquisition of International Computer Graphics (ICG), the service expansion enables Electrograph to provide complete value-added service coverage to its reseller customers from coast-to-coast.

"The expansion of our services division is an important component of our strategy as a value-added distributor," said Electrograph CEO, Alan Marc Smith. "As part of our integration of ICG, we are introducing many aspects of our VAD model into their business and the service center is one of the steps in that process."

"We've listened to our customers in round tables and through our sales organization and one constant theme is the need for high quality service providers in the marketplace," explained Sam Taylor, president of Electrograph Systems, Inc. "Electrograph wants to provide more than just a box to our resellers -- we are establishing value-added repair services to help our resellers increase their customer satisfaction and retention."

As a result of the Los Angeles opening, Electrograph will now have two factory-authorized service centers, the other located on the East Coast on Long Island in New York. Electrograph's service authorizations include leading manufacturers such as Pioneer, Panasonic, NEC, Philips, LG/Zenith and Samsung.
