ELECTRI-FLEX COMPANY, Roselle, IL, organized another 1,000-meal food drive this 4th of July holiday. Partnering with local community leaders at SCARCE and the DuPage County Sheriff’s Department, the meals benefit Meals on Wheels for DuPage County residents. The food drive was sponsored by Electri-Flex Company, the Roselle Police Association Foundation, the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office, Itasca Bank & Trust Co., Fates, Bodily & Parker PLLC, and SCARCE.
This is the largest amount of food collected and distributed, as each meal box contained a frozen chicken, a package of bratwurst sausages and buns, fresh fruit and corn, bread, potatoes, and assorted non-perishable food items. Meal boxes were prepared and distributed to 1,000 families on July 2nd, right before the 4th of July weekend.
