EDO Named DIRCM "Supplier of the Year" by SELEX


NEW YORK - July 2, 2007 - EDO Corporation (NYSE: EDO) U.K. business unit has been named "Supplier of the Year" by Finmeccanica's SELEX Sensors and Airborne Systems division in Edinburgh for contributing to the Directional Infrared Counter Measures (DIRCM) project. EDO supplies flexible circuits and motors used to integrate DIRCM systems into various military aircraft.

The DIRCM system eliminates or reduces the risk of attack from portable, infrared, ground-fired missiles. The system automatically detects and tracks the missiles before jamming their guidance equipment.
