Eclipse Establishes Field Service Certification Process

To ensure the quality and efficiency of its field service operations, Eclipse, Inc. recently established a service certification process within its U.S. Global Services organization. The new certification process requires all field service personnel to undergo a combination of classroom, laboratory, online, and field training. Testing is administered to verify expertise.

Each field service technician is required to pass tests in fourteen industrial safety courses facilitated and administered by J. J. Keller, Inc. prior to earning the coveted Certified Service Technician designation. In addition, each Certified Service Technician successfully completes a two-phase technical instruction program co-developed and facilitated by Dick Bennett of Janus Technology. The certification process also includes stringent management review of interpersonal skills and the use of technology to support the company's customer base.

Eclipse, Inc. is a manufacturer of industrial combustion systems and burners.
