Company Updates Projections for Fourth Quarter and Full Year 2008
ANDOVER, Mass., Feb. 5 / -- Dynamics Research Corporation (NASDAQ:DRCO), a leading provider of innovative management consulting, engineering, and information technology services and solutions to federal and state governments, today issued financial guidance for the calendar year ending December 31, 2009 and updated its projections of fourth quarter and full year 2008 results.
Company Guidance
Well positioned and with a continued focus on Washington, D.C. area growth markets, the Company's estimate of revenue for 2009 is in the range of $280 to $290 million reflecting anticipated total top-line growth of 15% to 19% and organic growth of 5% to 8%. Regarding earnings for 2009 the Company estimates results in the range of $0.90 to $1.00 per diluted share.
2008 Projections
The Company also has updated its projections of results for the fourth quarter and full year 2008. Revenue is projected to be approximately $68 million and $243 million for the fourth quarter and full year 2008, respectively. Earnings per diluted share is anticipated at approximately $0.27 for the fourth quarter and $0.80 for the full year 2008, excluding the financial effect of previously reported litigation charges.
