Dresser-Rand to Participate in Goldman Sachs Conference

HOUSTON, Jan. 9 - Dresser-Rand Group Inc. ("Dresser-Rand" or the "Company") (NYSE:DRC), a global supplier of rotating equipment and aftermarket parts and services, announced today that the Company will participate at Goldman Sachs Energy Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada on Wednesday, January 16, 2008. Vincent R. Volpe, Jr., President and Chief Executive Officer, will participate in a panel discussion. There will be no formal presentation or webcast.
