Dimension Data Helps Acuity Deploy IP Phone System
Dimension Data, a $2.7 billion global IT services and solutions firm, recently worked with multinational lighting fixture manufacturer Acuity Brands Lighting to implement an IP-based telephony and messaging solution. This solution will help Acuity Lighting employ a business continuity plan for telecommunications, enhance customer support, achieve scalability, and free up hundreds of square feet of floor space. Dimension Data provided a full range of services to Acuity, including assessment of their technology needs, the installation of 1200 IP phones and software for 122 users, and training for Acuity Lighting personnel.
