DFT Welcomes New Regional Sales Manager Jim Bachmann
Company Reaffirms Its Commitment To Southeastern Territory With Hiring of 25-Year Veteran
Exton, PA - DFT Inc., an industry leader in the manufacture of valves for more than 70 years, proudly announces that Jim Bachmann has joined the team as Regional Sales Manager, Southeastern Territory.
Bachmann's territory includes South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Florida, and Southern Mississippi counties south of and including Warren, Hinds, Rankin, Scott, Newton, and Lauderdale.
Bachmann comes to DFT with more than a quarter century's worth of expertise in the industrial valve market since beginning his career with Fluor Engineers in Houston as a control systems engineer. As a degreed mechanical engineer from Auburn University (War Eagle!) and Six Sigma Black Belt, he has amassed more than 30 years of industry experience in sales management, marketing, operations, and manufacturing while working for Anderson Greenwood, Foxboro Control Valves/Flowserve, TBV Ball Valves, and Crane.
The outgoing Bachmann works with clients, distributors, and fellow employees to develop and implement solutions based on the needs of the market and existing customers. Having lived in the Atlanta area since 1988, Bachmann and his wife, Elise, raised a son, Parker, and two daughters, Elizabeth and Jordan, in Flowery Branch, Georgia. He enjoys playing golf when possible, along with hiking, hunting, and fishing.
