Deluxe Introduces Calling Service to Help Financial Institutions Reach New Indirect Consumers

ST. PAUL, Minn., Jan. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Deluxe Financial Services today announced the launch of DeluxeCalling(SM), a consumer calling service offered to financial institutions as a first point of contact with new indirect loan consumers. Piloted by Boeing Employees' Credit Union (BECU), a $6.5 billion credit union serving Washington, DeluxeCalling strengthens new consumer relationships and enables financial institutions to expand consumer portfolios, enhance consumer loyalty, and reinforce their brand.

"Working closely with Deluxe, we conducted a four-week DeluxeCalling pilot with new loan members and had an overall account conversion rate of more than 10 percent," said Melanie Walsh, Director of Member Care, BECU. "Calls made to new indirect members through the DeluxeCalling service on behalf of us were well-received and successful in building our brand. By proactively contacting these consumers, DeluxeCalling has allowed us to make personal connections, grow revenue and bring in new product leads."

A revenue enhancing service, DeluxeCalling enables financial institutions to engage more deeply with loan consumers, resulting in fewer missed payments and additional leads for new account openings. After a consumer is issued a loan from a financial institution, the DeluxeCalling team provides helpful information about the loan terms and service, as well as information about the financial institution's product and service offerings.

"As the first point of contact for new indirect consumers, DeluxeCalling makes it easy for financial institutions to establish a strong relationship after a loan is issued and before the first payment is due," said Luann Widener, president, Deluxe Financial Services. "Deluxe offers a comprehensive suite of products and services designed to help financial institutions achieve their most crucial business objectives, including enhancing consumer loyalty, strengthening brand and creating market differentiation. DeluxeCalling is just one way Deluxe enables financial institutions to find -- and maintain -- a competitive edge."
