Delta's Live, Online RMC Motion Control Training is Instructor Led and Cost Effective
February 23, 2007 - Vancouver, WA - Delta Computer Systems, Inc. has added comprehensive RMC Motion Controller Technical Training Courses using live online instructor led education.
The 8-hour Live Online Training Courses are fully interactive with an actual Delta RMC motion controller for each student (accessed via Internet). The "hands on", instructor-led training covers setup, tuning, programming and diagnostics of RMC motion controllers for closed loop position and velocity control through a series of lessons and lab exercises.
These conveniently scheduled education sessions are a cost effective alternative to Delta's traditional, in person, classroom training, as they eliminate travel and lodging expenses.
Each student receives a detailed training manual with step-by-step instructions and illustrations. Sessions are 2 days of 4 hours per day with 4 to 8 "hands on" laboratory exercises including more challenging "bonus" labs. Special sessions are available for position-pressure/force control as an advanced phase of training.
These user-friendly courses offer detailed information on Delta's RMC70Tools or RMCWin software including:
o An Overview of Delta RMC70 or 100 Series Motion Controllers
o RMC Software Navigation and Step by Step Startup Procedures
o Communication and Feedback Choices
o Issuing Commands and writing User Programs
o Diagnostics and Troubleshooting using visual Plot Managers
o Tuning Methods, Scale and Offset Wizards
"Every student has full access to their own motion controller during this instructor taught class. This makes the training come alive in a way that canned programs cannot duplicate," stated Delta training specialist, Brad Smith, "Detailed manuals also serve as a reference guide during the sessions or when using Delta's website for 24/7 connection to on line simulators after the classes", Smith added.
