Delcam and CMS Present Latest in CADCAM and CNC at Boatbuilder Forum

CADCAM software developer Delcam and machine tool manufacturer CMS presented a seminar on the implementation of CADCAM software with CNC machining at this year's European Boatbuilder Technology Forum, which ran from 14th to 15th November at the Marine Equipment Trade Show (METS) in Amsterdam. The session explained the range of CNC machine tools that are available today and the way in which virtual computer models of components can be prepared for cutting on a CNC machine tool.
Chris Edwards, president of Delcam Italy, and Matteo Sardo, product and sales manager of the Marine Division at CMS, presented a case study demonstrating the application of this new technology to reduce overall project times and increase the accuracy of models produced. They highlighted the direct experiences of Prisma Costruzioni Navali, one of many customers in the boatbuilding industry shared by CMS and Delcam.
