Dave Strand Kicks Off the United Way Giving Campaign in a Big Way
It’s the holiday season and in the spirit of giving, Wisconsin Oven would like to highlight its community partner, the United Way of Walworth County. The United Way devotes its time and resources to improving the community and helping those in need. Wisconsin Oven was named the United Way of Walworth County’s largest contributor in 2017 with employee donations reaching $20,000. Wisconsin Oven President & CEO, Dave Strand, was also named Honorary Campaign Chair for the upcoming year. To kick off the United Way giving campaign, Dave sent out a heartfelt letter to the members encouraging them to pay it forward. This kick-off letter resulted in $15,000 in donations to the United Way of Walworth County
As Dave said in his letter “It’s not what you got, it’s what you give. I have found that if what you give is accompanied by love from your heart, you will always get a return on your investment. These seeds that were planted early in my life have grown into my ability to pay it forward the best way I can.”
